Clinch machines (mobile)
In the Netherlands, Mparts is the number one supplier for Swiss manufacturer Böllhoff Attexor SA. Böllhoff Attexor SA specialises in the manufacture and supply of 'plug and play' clinch machines for the mechanical joining of thin, metal plates (including stainless steel, aluminium, copper, and steel for instance).
Mparts' wide range includes Attexor hand tongs and stationary tongs, whether or not to be equipped with straight or round stamping die combinations. A clinch machine/pressing machine serves as an alternative for (point) welding, blind riveting, and screwing applications. Because these clinch machines use no fasteners, recurring costs can be avoided.
Advantages of a clinch machine compared to spot welding:
- connecting of various materials, including: steel to aluminium, aluminium to copper, etc;
- joining lacquered and coated sheets;
- coatings do not become damaged;
- verifiable quality;
- under dynamic load, the pressure joint connection is stronger than a spot weld connection;
- no sparks or toxic fumes (environmentally friendly);
- no need for degreasing;
- low energy consumption (environmentally friendly);
- cleaning of electrodes is no longer necessary;
- material properties are retained;
- intermediate layers of paper, foil, glue, or sealant are possible.
Choose your clinch system
FS-Series - light and fast hand tongs (using hydraulic booster)
The FS series is particularly suited for external edges of cabinets, enclosures, walls, etc. These clinch machines have a high speed, are lightweight, and their mobility makes them easy to use. See all FS models
IP Series - 100% pneumatic
The IP series is extremely suited for assembling profiles or folded edges that require a larger mouth opening. These fast and safe pneumatic clinch machines are a perfect solution for such applications. The machines are 100% pneumatic and therefore require little maintenance (read: no oil leakage or air in oil) and are extremely versatile. See all IP models
Pass Series - with C-frame , highly versatile (extra large)
The PASS series is often required in situations where a clinch machine has to be used further from the edge or in a difficult to reach area. In these situations, this machine serves as the perfect solution. Moreover, the different dimensions and geometries can be applied using the same unit. See all PASS models
Tagger 320 - Stapling sheet metal without staples
The Tagger clinch machine is an extremely fast clinch machines for attaching sheet metal to edges and flat panels. Ideal for pre-coating and multi-layer assembly of thin metal plates. See the tagger 320
