Zero point clamping systems

Zero-point clamping systems have a great return on investment thanks to simple set-up processes, less machine downtime, and virtually unlimited flexibility. Zero-point clamping systems are coupling elements for tensioning and simultaneously centring clamping elements, designed as a quick-switch systems for shortening set-up times.

Zero-point clamping systems are used:

• For the relative clamping of clamping elements using a ''zero point''.
• For machining workpieces in multiple steps on different machines.

In addition to the highest possible flexibility of these systems and hydraulic operation, with integrated lay-out of clamping systems or through modular construction, this technology guarantees high production safety, sustainable accuracy, and no contamination at the reference point thanks to the base element pins (facing upwards) and retracting ring integrated on the clamping device.
