A multi-vice is a universal tensioner with a highly flexible clamping system. The exchangeable jaws and inserts make it possible to use different clamping techniques.
Possibilities include:
- Conventional clamping: for clamping standard workpieces;
- Clamping with extra grip: for clamping complex, rough parts;
- Flat clamping: for safe and accurate clamping of rough parts;
- 5-fold machining: for 5-fold machining with surface tensioner.
The product features of the multi-vice system are:
- High flexibility - the modular clamping system combines almost all possibilities of our proven models;
- High pressure spindle driven - tension does not decrease;
- Enlarged stroke for safe tensioning of rough workpieces;
- Loss due to clamping edge 8 mm in tensile load, 3 mm in grip load;
- Tensioning with torque wrench (max. 30 Nm) - makes work possible in case of unfavourable clamping across the table.
Application of multi-vice system
The multi-vice system is a universal tensioner and can be used in combination with many different systems. The vices are mainly used for:
- Vertical and horizontal CNC-controlled milling machines;
- Conventional, grip and tensile stress possible;
- MS 125-S – ideal for use on 5-axis machining centres;
- Clamping rough workpieces, fire and saw cut by penetrating hardened and exchangeable grip elements into the workpiece;
- Using the fixed claw, rough workpieces made from a variety of materials and with complex geometries can be safely and inexpensively clamped.
