Selecting the right clamping elements for a specific product is always a difficult task. Fortunately, this is where you can rely on BIBUS' advice. We provide free, tailored advice for the modular, manual clamping of customer-specific products that must be manufactured in small and medium-sized series. In order to provide adequate advice, we first require insight into the product to be clamped or a drawing. This so that we can analyse the geometry of the product.
In addition, customers should specify whether the product must undergo vertical or horizontal machining, what the maximum height of the CNC machining centre is, and whether there are areas where no machining should be performed. Based on this information, we can start providing tailored advice. This advice may consist of a report and colour photograph, which show how exactly the product should be clamped, allowing for optimum time and financial savings.
In addition, a schematic representation of the clamp on a hole or T-slot system will be provided. This schematic representation shows exactly where the clamping elements must be fitted. The whole will also be complemented with a parts list, which states all clamping elements with order numbers.
