BIBUS not only supplies high-quality technical components for machine construction, but also plug & play machines. The website distinguishes between three types of machines: industrial presses, blind rivet tools and clinching machines. These machines are purchased by BIBUS from producers, such as Mäder and Böllhoff Attexor. On this page you can find more information about the clinching machines and industrial presses from BIBUS.
Clinch machines
Clinch machines offer an environmentally friendly alternative to spot welding, riveting, screwing, popping or self-tapping. The latter techniques use additional components that connect the two objects. By using a clinching machine, objects can be connected in a sustainable way.
Clinching is mainly done with thin sheet metal. By deforming the plates, a mechanical connection is created, making screws or other connection materials unnecessary. Other benefits of using a clinching machine are:
- Clinching does not produce smoke or sparks and is relatively quiet;
- The machines have a low energy consumption;
- Clinch machines contribute to an environmentally friendly workplace;
- It is possible to connect various materials, for example steel to aluminum, steel to stainless steel or aluminum to copper.
Industrial presses
In addition to clinching machines, BIBUS also sells a wide range of industrial presses. These machines are purchased directly from the German manufacturer Mäder. They are used by our customers for pressing, mounting, joining, shrinking, bending, riveting, punching and gluing.
Not only are the applications of these presses varied, the force range of the presses also varies considerably, from 30 N to 100kN. Precisely because the range of industrial presses is so extensive, we always know how to help customers find the right press.
Mäder presses comply with the machine directive, the European legislation for the machine industry.
Blind rivet tools
The blind rivet tools below are used to mount any type of blind rivet and blind rivet nuts from the BIBUS range. Blind rivets and nuts are used to connect thin plates, tubes and pipes made of metal, plastic, wood or even glass. The blind rivet tools realize the mechanical connection from one side of a drilled hole. In the wide range of blind rivet tools you will always be able to find the right blind rivet tool for your application.
The blind rivet tools are designed with focus on ease of handling and ergonomics. The blind rivet pliers are divided into three categories: manual blind rivet tools, pneumatic blind rivet tools and battery blind rivet tools.
