Safety shock absorbers
As a low-cost alternative to industrial shock absorbers, safety shock absorbers from ACE are the best solution. Developed for occasional use, they serve primarily as reliable, effective protection of structures in emergency stop operation.
The low-maintenance and assembly-ready machine elements are distinguished in every area by ACE's well-known high quality and maximum energy absorption of up to 480,000 Nm/stroke. In the SCS33 to SCS64 series, for example, components from the MAGNUM shock absorber series are used. SCS safety shock absorbers are designed to achieve service lives of up to 1,000 loaded cycles. Safety shock absorbers from ACE are available in many versions with strokes from 23 mm to 1,200 mm, where the pattern of the choke openings can be calculated and produced customer-specifically depending on the application.
