Lockable gas springs type K

Type K is characterized by the rigid blocking in the outgoing direction. The cylinder consists of two chambers that are separated by a floating piston. One chamber consists of gas and the other chamber is filled with oil. This creates a rigid blocking in the outgoing direction.

The piston rod will not move with an outgoing load (pulling movement). If the blocking force in compressing direction is exceeded, the piston rod will make a small shift. This type is used for example with adjustable backrests of chairs.

New: Type K lockable gas springs with a piston rod diameter of 6 mm.
