spring: spring steel wire; nitrilrubber (NBR) (O-ring);
clamping jaws: tool steel, hardened, blackened and ground.
Characteristics:
multiple taper clamping units can be found under (multiple clamping systems);
T-nuts (HB01, HB02 and HB03) can be ordered separately;
type 1: single taper, ribbed;
type 2: single taper, flat;
type 3: double taper, ribbed;
type 4: double taper, flat;
type 5: single taper, clamping jaw with screw fastened thread;
M (Nm) in the table represents the maximum tightening torque;
F1 (kN) in the table represents the maximum clamping force.
Assembly:
can be mounted in a threaded hole or with T-nuts for horizontal or vertical multiple clamping.
Operation:
inserting the socket head screw moves the two clamping chucks outwards and presses the work pieces against a stop. Using the double taper, an additional vertical clamping force will be achieved. Stroke of taper clamping units with M5 and M8 = ±0,5, M12 = ±1 and M16 = ±1,5.
