U.V. resistant cable ties have a high percentage of carbon and are recommended for normal outdoor work because they have good resistance to Ultra Violet light. Thanks to the addition of carbon, these cable ties have a much longer service life for outdoor applications. Also resistant to oil and fats, but also salt and most dilute acids.
