Originally derived from proven friction spring technology, these locking elements consist of an outer and inner taper ring that work together to create a secure mechanical connection between the shaft and the mounted component. The tensioning of the locking elements is achieved through a custom-designed hub and shaft setup. Our high-precision locking elements from the RfN 8006 series are available in both solid and slit versions, depending on the required clamping force.
