The high-quality Shrink discs are flange-shaped, friction-locked shaft-hub connections that offer a more powerful and reliable alternative to traditional shrink fits, wedges, keyways, or polygonal connections. Unlike internal locking devices, such as locking assemblies, pressure is applied externally to the hollow shaft or hub, creating a completely backlash-free, frictional connection between the shaft and hub.
