Torsionally rigid and low-backlash gear couplings of the TNZ series—formerly TSCHAN® TNZ and POSIFLEX®—are made of high-strength steel and are recognized worldwide across all industrial sectors where extraordinarily high torques must be transmitted from shaft to shaft. These couplings are particularly well-suited for heavy-duty applications, such as in the direct drive of conveyor systems, mixers, rolling mills, or roller tables. As flexible shaft connections, the TNZ Gear Couplings transmit torque positively through hubs with crowned teeth that are constantly in mesh with straight-toothed sleeves. They are distinguished by their extremely high power densities and, depending on the coupling variant, are also effective in compensating for axial, radial, and angular shaft misalignments. Thanks to high-quality grease lubrication with ultra-high pressure additives, minimal restoring forces are achieved, ensuring reliable and nearly wear-free operation. The unique modular system offers users maximum flexibility in assembling precisely fitting coupling designs, allowing for the adaptation of suitable components, such as brake discs, drums, or torsion shafts, to meet specific requirements.
