Material:

• body: free cutting steel, blackened; stainless steel 303 (1.4305);
• ball: ball-bearing steel, hardened; stainless steel, hardened;
• bearing: plastic;
• spring: stainless steel.

Characteristics:

• to be used for locating or for applying pressure, as a detent or for ejection;
• the running of the ball minimises wear on the counterpart, this also results in a positive locking behaviour depending on the counterpart;
• plastic balls offer electric insulation;
• calculation of indexing resistance, please refer to the appendix;
• F (N) and F1 (N) in the table is the average statistical value of the spring force;
• temperature range from a minimum of -30°C to a maximum of 90°C;
• type 1: standard spring load (no marking); type 2: heavy spring load (marked with two lines).
