Spring Plungers with ball and slot

Material:

• body: free cutting steel, blackened; stainless steel 303 (1.4305);
• ball: ball-bearing steel, hardened; stainless steel, hardened; ceramic (silicon nitride), black;
• spring: stainless steel.

Characteristics:

• ceramic ball: (in stainless steel A4 (RVS+) version) highly impact-resistant, abrasion resistant, antimagnetic, electrically isolating;
• to be used for locating or for applying pressure, as a detent or for ejection;
• calculation of indexing resistance, see details at the start of the section;
• F (N) and F1 (N) in the table is the average statistical value of the spring force;
• temperature range to a maximum of 250°C;
• type 1: standard spring load (no marking); type 2: heavy spring load (marked with two lines);
• the version from stainless steel A4 guarantees the highest corrosion protection.
