Roetz-Bikes

Roetz

An inclusive and circular society is a central theme for Roetz-Bikes. The bicycles are handcrafted by apprentices with a "backpack". The company is open to new talent. No job requirements or elaborate CV is required. Everyone is welcome to develop themselves into a qualified bicycle technician or discover a new working trajectory. In this way, Roetz-Bikes contributes to an inclusive society.

"One man's trash is another man's treasure" undoubtedly applies to the craftsmen who manufacture bicycles at the Fair Factory. The company works in a circular manner as much as possible, in which raw materials are reused to limit the impact on the environment. About 30% of the parts of the bicycles that are produced by Roetz consist of recycled components. This saves 20 tons of raw materials on an annual basis. Where it is not possible to reuse components, sustainable products with a long lifespan are chosen. This is where BIBUS’ role as a supplier of mechanical components comes in.

The application

Spangreep voor fietsen

BIBUS supplies clamping levers for a frequently used Roetz model: the Student Hotel city bikes. The clamping levers have an important function on these bikes. The components help cyclists easily adjust the height of the saddle to their needs.

Important for this application are safety and ease of use. The clamping levers are easy to operate, but offer safety and stability. Cyclists do not have to worry that the saddle will suddenly collapse during a bicycle ride.

The sleek design of the clamping levers matches the general look and feel of the tough city bikes.
