BIBUS in practice: the 'Extremely Large Telescope'
There are few field applications that underline the diversity BIBUS’ product range as well as the world's largest telescope. In northern Chile, VDL ETG Projects and the European Southern Observatory are contributing to the manufacturing of the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) at an altitude of more than 3 kilometers. BIBUS is proud of its role as supplier of VDL ETG Projects and this Dutch/European collaboration. This article elaborates on the ELT.
BIBUS in de praktijk: de 'Extremely Large Telescope'
Er zijn weinig praktijktoepassingen die de diversiteit van het assortiment van BIBUS zo goed onderstrepen als ‘s werelds grootste telescoop. In Noord-Chili wordt op een hoogte van ruim 3 kilometer door onder andere VDL ETG Projects en het European Southern Observatory gebouwd aan de Extremely Large Telescope (ELT). BIBUS is trots op haar rol als leverancier van VDL ETG Projects. In dit artikel wordt de rol van BIBUS bij de bouw van de ELT toegelicht.
