Adjustable mast in position
BIBUS assists shipyards that want to equip an existing or new ship/yacht with electric height/position adjustment. The (stainless steel) gas springs and actuators lend themselves perfectly to this. A good example of such cooperation is described in this practical example.

In cooperation with Cees Juffermans of Jachthaven Poelgeest, sloop brands Antaris and Maril have developed a system that makes opening and closing convertible tops on a sloop a lot more pleasant and easy.
Stainless steel actuators for the maritime sector
For a customer we applied actuators to adjust the height of the roof of a ship. The stainless steel actuators are customer specific and calculated based on the weight of the roof and the height adjustment that had to be realized. The stainless steel 316 actuators can function very well in an environment with (salt)water. If you choose for quality, you also choose for a smooth operation and a long lifetime with our actuators.
Actuator for engine room access
A Bansbach actuator is used in this application. The actuator provides access to the engine compartment of the tender via a button in the dashboard. When the button is pressed, the actuator makes a linear movement that opens the valve. Ease of use is paramount, hence the choice of an actuator from BIBUS.
