VAR Tenders
The actuator is used in a yacht of VAR Tenders. The company from Nijkerk helps tender enthusiasts to realize their dreams. Ivar Loos, from VAR Tenders, does this in two ways. The shipyard is working on both customer-specific tenders commissioned and on a standard tender: the VAR950.
For those interested in getting on the water as soon as possible, the VAR950 can be delivered immediately. The aluminum standard model has a length of 9.50 meters and a width of almost 3 meters. The VAR950 can accommodate up to 10 people and has many luxurious features. The ship has sleeping facilities for two people, mood lighting, hot and cold water, a built-in induction hob and a toilet with a holding tank.
Those who want just that little bit extra can take the VAR950 as a starting point and add extra options. Think of a cabin with a sleeping cabin, more comfort or other modules.
Access to engine room via actuator
Comfort and luxury are central to the tenders of VAR Tenders. For this reason, a solution for electric height adjustment from BIBUS was chosen. The actuator gives access to the engine compartment of the tender via a button in the dashboard. When the button is pressed, the actuator makes a linear movement that opens the valve.
The electric actuator ensures that access to the engine compartment is just as comfortable and luxurious as the rest of the tender. User-friendliness is therefore guaranteed.
An easyE-50 actuator has been chosen for the VAR950. For this version, the steel housing has a black powder coating. The same actuator is also available in stainless steel.
The easyE-50 version has a maximum force of 4,500 N. The stroke can vary from 50 to 750 mm. On request it is possible to supply an actuator with a longer stroke.
In addition to the classic line of actuators with external control, such as the actuator on the VAR950, BIBUS also supplies actuators with integrated control: the easyE-i. The advantage of this line is that the actuators don’t have external ‘components’.
