High-quality Barrel Couplings of the TNK series, previously known as TSCHAN® TK, are designed for use in cranes and hoists to optimally connect the gearbox output shaft with the rope drum. They are also ideal for other applications where radial loads, in addition to torques, are transmitted, such as lifting platforms, platform hoists, and various types of winch conveyors. These couplings are torsionally rigid, easy to assemble and maintain, thanks to the inner cover integrated into the flange, and they effectively compensate for both axial and angular shaft misalignments. The torque is transmitted positively via steel barrel rollers placed in circular troughs, ensuring safe transfer of radial forces. Additionally, the outer cover with a special lip seal prevents foreign objects from entering and stops lubricants from leaking. The integrated wear indicator allows for simple and fast condition monitoring.
