Habru medical examination benches
As a Dutch family business, Habru has been supplying examination benches to general practitioners since 1970. In that year, the very first Mini Multu was developed in collaboration with the Dutch College of General Practitioners. Since then, the company designs, develops, covers, assembles, supplies, maintains and replaces medical examination benches. The examination benches are versatile due to the comfortable base and additional options. Comfort for the patient is central in both sitting and lying position. Habru asked BIBUS to think along to find the ideal solution for the position of the backrest. A tradeoff that is often made is the choice between a gas spring or an actuator for height / position adjustment. Ultimately, a lockable gas pressure spring was chosen. A gas spring is fast, simple, mechanical, durable and interesting in terms of price compared to an actuator. This version has rigid blocking in "push out" with integrated "overload" function. At the same time, a limited unlocking force is required.
This lockable gas spring can be placed at any position. This feature comes in handy for treatment couches, which often need to be adapted to a specific situation or individual.
BIBUS has both lockable gas compression springs and gas extension springs in the range of gas springs. Because the gas springs are supplied customer-specific, it is always possible to realize a tailor-made solution.
