Easy operation of solar control panels
The engineering firm Prokad has developed an innovative solution for creating shade in the garden. Through this application, residents can easily adjust the position of the panels, creating more or less shade according to their wishes. A Bansbach actuator is used to control the panels. This actuator can not only be controlled via the control, but is also operated through a smartphone.

For the end user, this application results in the ultimate ease of use. BIBUS’ Bansbach actuators are regularly used in the outdoor living sector with the aim of improving the user experience. Actuators are very suitable for this type of solution. This is because these components are able to make linear movements without the use of manual force. Where gas springs do have to be controlled manually, actuators can realise electronic movements. In addition, actuators are easy to reprogram to other programs. As a result, actuators offer a high degree of flexibility.
New at BIBUS are the actuators with integrated control, the EasyE-i line. These actuators are equipped with an internal control with which they can be controlled individually or fully synchronously. The advantage of this is that no external control is needed anymore.
All EasyE-i models can be supplied with a cable length of 1-9 meters, an internal stroke limitation, an adjustable overcurrent protection, an internal heat protection and various end connectors, such as eyes and spherical bearings. You can also choose a version in stainless steel 316, powder-coated black steel or in a RAL color of your choice. The EasyE-i actuators can be easily adjusted with the available software during installation or after maintenance.
Always the right solution
An actuator does not always offer the best possible solution. In other applications gas springs can also offer a solution. Take the video below, for example, where a glass windshield is adjusted in position using a mechanical click system integrated into the gas spring. This unique click system makes it possible to mechanically lock the gas spring in the retracted position. With just a light touch, the locking of the piston rod can be released again.
