What have you learned from being a managing director?

To only worry about the really important things, the art of :letting go” is important otherwise you go crazy.

 

What is the best and worst part of your job?

Best: No day is the same and working together with your team to achieve something.

Worst: People who complain and turmoil in the team.

What motivates employees the most?

Working at a company with the right culture, where everyone feels safe. A company that has a vision and a strategy.

 

Can you be friends with your employees?

Yes, in extraordinary circumstances.

 

How do you change gears from work life to family life?

Luckily I can easily let go, from the time I get in my car until I get home I can process my day and then I am fully present with/for my family.

I only listen to my first name.

At home, around the house when I am working on/fixing things. Or when I meet with friends.
