We are proud to inform you that on our journey BIBUS BV has obtained the official representation in the Benelux for high-quality couplings and components in damping technology of the German Ringfeder Power Transmission GmbH. Ringfeder, founded in 1922, is the international market leader in niche markets for power transmission and damping technology. Ringfeder develops, manufactures and supplies superior shaft-hub joints, damping components and couplings for the highest demands on functionality and durability. Ringfeder's products are designed to meet the most stringent requirements and provide maximum reliability, safety and cost efficiency even in the most challenging conditions. As a competent and professional partner for drive and damping technology, Ringfeder combines continuous optimization with pioneering innovation for all products in their portfolio, always in the interest and benefit of the customer.

Shaft-hub couplings
Shaft-hub connections are the connecting element between the shaft and the machine elements mounted on the shaft, e.g. sprockets, chain wheels, brake discs or flanges. The main function is the transmission of torque and power (force). By tightening the clamping screws, inner and outer rings press themselves onto the contact surfaces of the components to be connected, thus creating a friction-locking press connection. This allows not only the highest torques, but also axial, radial and bending loads to be transferred reliably. In addition, they feature simple, quick assembly and disassembly, complete freedom from maintenance and wear, and absolutely backlash-free power transmission! Shaft couplings Shaft couplings are used in machines as a connection between two drive components in line with each other. The couplings can absorb all radial and axial misalignments and transmit the torque completely free of clearance, even at high rigidities. There are two types of joints: a rigid or an elastic joint. The difference between these two joints is that an elastic joint accommodates misalignment and dampens vibrations. In addition, torsional stiffness (important in positioning accuracy) is important when choosing between the two joints. The choice of shaft coupling type depends on the power to be transferred, the application and the environment in which the coupling is located! Shaft couplings are used for high-precision drives in every industry. From machine and equipment construction to agriculture and from maritime industry to the food industry. Friction springs Friction springs are indispensable, maintenance-free safety components in industrial sectors where suddenly occurring forces must be absorbed! They consist of precisely machined outer and inner rings that are assembled into complete spring columns according to individual user requirements. Industrial buffers Friction springs are also available as complete, customized buffers in various shapes and sizes for a variety of applications! Common designs include “push-pull” units that serve as highly effective vibration dampers and slip clutches for overload protection.
